It’s undeniably delicious. Now let’s have some damage control.
♥ Replace eggs and cream with low fat evaporated milk or soy milk.
♥ Eliminate the added sugar.
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups low fat evaporated milk or low fat vanilla soy milk
6 oz. of bittersweet chocolate, chopped (about 1 heaping cup)
Bring evaporated milk or soy milk to boil in a small saucepan. Add chocolate and whisk until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk until thickened, about 4 minutes. Place a layer of plastic wrap directly over the surface of the mousse and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Stir mousse before serving and scoop into a chilled bowl.
